We play small sided. Four versus four for the little ones, seven versus seven up top, because more touches beats more structure every single time at these ages. We do not run laps. We do not do lines. If your kid comes home and says practice was fun, that is the metric we are actually tracking.

Uniform is a reversible shirt, which is all a small sided game needs. Equipment is shin guards and a size appropriate ball if you do not have one.
