• Parent/user accounts: Email address, full name, phone number (optional), neighborhood, and information about your children (name, birth year, sports).
• Organization contact info: Name, email, phone, website, and address of sports organizations listed in our directory.
• Usage data: Page views, search queries, program interactions, and other activity data to improve the service.
• Inquiry data: Messages you send to organizations through our inquiry form, including child age and program interest.
• Payment information: Billing details for organization subscriptions, processed securely through Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Klubbi directory and organization profiles.
• To send email notifications you've opted into (program openings, deadlines, updates from followed organizations).
• To forward inquiry messages to the relevant sports organization.
• To process subscription payments for organizations.
• To analyze usage patterns and improve the product.
• To communicate service updates, security notices, and policy changes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — Database and authentication infrastructure.
• Stripe — Payment processing for organization subscriptions.
• Resend — Transactional email delivery.
• Mapbox — Location mapping and geocoding.
• Vercel — Hosting and serverless infrastructure.

4. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication, managed by Supabase Auth. These cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function and are not used for advertising tracking. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 90 days. Organization listing data may be retained in anonymized form for directory continuity.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Klubbi is designed for parents and sports organizations — not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Information about children (such as age and sports interests) is entered by parents and associated with the parent's account, not the child. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information directly, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Row Level Security in our database, and access controls to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Opt out of non-essential email communications.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of Klubbi after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
